01Acceptance of these terms

By installing, accessing, or using Justice Path Utah, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

02Educational purpose

Justice Path Utah is a general education, organization, and official-link guide. It introduces broad pathways relating to housing stability, medical debt, and protective-order information and offers a local question and checklist workspace.

03No legal advice or representation

The app and website do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, representation, case assessment, eligibility determination, deadline calculation, document interpretation, court filing, negotiation, confidential communication, or an attorney-client or advocate-client relationship. General information may not apply to an individual situation. Contact an authorized provider or qualified attorney for advice.

04No emergency or safety service

Justice Path Utah is not an emergency-response, crisis-intervention, monitoring, confidential-messaging, or safety-planning service. It cannot detect danger, notify another person, contact authorities, conceal device use, or guarantee safe access. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 or use a safer device to contact an appropriate emergency service.

05Organization and program information

Public descriptions are based on information attributed to Community Justice Advocates of Utah and Utah's legal-services regulatory sources. Programs, laws, authorization, advocates, service areas, training, eligibility, availability, contact details, and procedures may change. Confirm current details through CJAU's official website and the relevant provider.

06External links and communications

Links, email actions, and phone actions open third-party applications or destinations. We do not control their content, availability, privacy, security, accuracy, or actions. A link does not guarantee endorsement, eligibility, response, representation, or service.

07Local workspace

The optional workspace is a convenience for drafting a question and marking general preparation prompts. Do not use it as a legal file, medical record, financial record, evidence repository, safety plan, deadline system, or secure communication channel. You are responsible for device access and for clearing local data when appropriate.

08Appropriate use

You may not misuse the app or website, interfere with operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person or provider, scrape personal contact information for harassment or marketing, or use the content to misrepresent professional authorization.

09Intellectual property and attribution

The Justice Path Utah name, original interface, illustrations, text, and package materials are protected to the extent permitted by law. Community Justice Advocates of Utah names and attributed program information remain associated with their respective owner and official sources. No government endorsement is claimed.

10Availability and changes

The app or website may be updated, interrupted, modified, or discontinued. Offline app content may become outdated. External websites and advocate-directory entries can change independently. No uninterrupted availability or preservation of a local workspace is promised.

11Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, security, legal outcome, eligibility, or service availability.

12Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app publisher, support provider, contributors, and organization are not liable for decisions, missed deadlines, legal outcomes, safety events, service denials, lost data, device exposure, third-party conduct, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the app, website, or external links. Some jurisdictions do not permit all limitations, so applicable law controls.

13Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised to reflect app, website, legal, or operational changes. A revised version will identify a new effective date. Continued use after publication means the revised terms apply to future use.
